Senior Programmes Officer - Jordan

Generations For Peace programmes in Jordan are growing, with increased donor support from UNICEF and the EU. Reporting to, guided and directed by the Programmes Director, the Senior Programmes Officer leads on management of all Programmes in Jordan; supporting and mentoring all Jordan Programmes Staff in their development, and their supporting and mentoring of lead volunteer Delegates/Pioneers; building relationships with Donors and Partners; and liaising closely with the Jordan Programmes M&E Officer and Coordinator on the Monitoring & Evaluation of the Programmes, and with the Communications team on communications. The Senior Programmes Officer also promotes and supports horizontal learning across Jordan Programmes Staff and Delegates/Pioneers in Jordan.

This position provides an invaluable opportunity to be part of GFP’s growing team and Jordan’s highest-ranked NGO (ranked #32 in the Top 500 NGOs in the World, by Global Geneva). Based in Amman. Applicants must be Jordanian nationality. Excellent spoken and written Arabic and English are needed for this role, and at least five year’s professional experience are required. Programmes Officer - Jordan

Generations For Peace programmes in Jordan are growing, with increased donor support from UNICEF and the EU. Reporting to, guided and directed by the Senior Programmes Officer, the Programmes Officer has lead responsibility for daily management of the assigned GFP programme(s) in Jordan; supporting and mentoring the assigned Programmes Coordinators and the lead volunteer Delegates/Pioneers in programme design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, in order to support the continued programme growth and innovation, greater effectiveness and quality, and increased demonstration of impact and sustainability. The Programmes Officer also supports the Senior Programmes Officer in building relationships with Donors and Partners; in liaising closely with the Jordan Programmes M&E Officer and Coordinator on the Monitoring & Evaluation of the Programmes, and with the Communications team on communications; and in promoting and supporting horizontal learning across Jordan Programmes Staff and Delegates/Pioneers in Jordan.

Programmes Coordinator - Jordan

Generations For Peace programmes in Jordan are growing, with increased donor support from UNICEF and the EU. Reporting to, guided and directed by the Senior Programmes Officer, and working closely with an assigned Programmes Officer, the Programmes Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Programmes Department and Delegates/Pioneers in programme design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the assigned programme(s) in Jordan, in order to maximize positive change and sustainable impact in the target communities, liaising closely with the Jordan Programmes M&E Officer and Coordinator on Monitoring & Evaluation, and with the Communications team on communications. The Programmes Coordinator will receive mentoring and support and will be expected to build knowledge, skills and experience to take on increasing responsibilities and work on assigned tasks with steadily reducing supervision.
