28 October 2013 – Amman, Jordan: Generations For Peace is proud to announce a partnership with Royal Jordanian Airlines. Jordan’s national carrier is confirmed as the official “Airline Partner” for the forthcoming Generations For Peace Amman Camp 2013.

Scheduled for 1st – 10th of November 2013, the Camp will take place at Generations For Peace Conference Centre in Al Hussein Sport City in Amman. The ninth since 2007, this Camp will have a special focus on the MENA region, training selected volunteer youth leaders from Jordan, Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Libya, Palestine, Tunisia and Yemen to become Generations For Peace Delegates.

HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, Founder and Chairman of Generations For Peace, highlighted the mutual values shared by both parties: “Royal Jordanian and Generations For Peace have a shared interest in promoting Jordan and its values. As a Jordanian peace-building organisation operating internationally, Generations For Peace has grown fast and earned a reputation for innovation, quality, impact, and sustainability. Just like Royal Jordanian, Generations For Peace is an ambassador of goodwill and a bridge to the world, projecting a positive image of Jordan and supporting exchange, friendship and deeper understanding with the rest of the world.”

Royal Jordanian Chairman of the board, Engineer Nasser Lozi, expressed pleasure for lending support to Generations For Peace, praising its reputation of enabling the youth to continue Jordan’s efforts to build peace.

“This partnership is a natural fit for Royal Jordanian and our corporate social responsibility priorities. Generations For Peace has an outstanding track record and is ranked in the Top 100 NGOs in the world. We are both proud Jordanian organizations operating internationally to link Jordan to the rest of the world and to spread Jordan’s heritage and reputation as a peace-building nation,” said Lozi.

A total of seventy volunteers will be participating in the ten-day camp, which will provide them with a set of skills and advanced knowledge of theories on peace-building and conflict transformation. In addition, the camp will provide them with the opportunity to share and exchange their experiences, and explore different cultures.
