Tes Osborne

Development and Partnerships Specialist

Tes joined Generations For Peace in February 2020 as Grant Proposal Specialist. In this role, Tes supports the design and implementation of GFP’s fundraising strategy with an emphasis on proposal development, by managing GFP’s day-to-day proposal development process. She also helps to research and engage prospective donors and partners, and identify new funding opportunities; to secure new and increased funding for Generations For Peace programmes, research and capacity development.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Tes holds a First Class Honours, Bachelor of Arts in International Development from the University of Sussex. She also studied Mainstream Chinese Philosophy in Hong Kong after winning a competitive scholarship.

Her love of exploring new countries and learning about different cultures has led her to mixture of travelling, working, studying, and volunteering in 48 countries across five continents. Tes has extensive experience working abroad, which includes her previous role in the Grant Acquisition Management department for the World Vision Syria Emergency Response. Prior to this she was in Palestine, exploring how theatre and the arts can be used as a tool for reconciliation in development. She has also worked on an enhancing rural livelihoods project in Ghana; an integration and social cohesion project for refugees in the United Kingdom; provided long-term support to build links between communities in South India and South West England; and an inclusive education initiative in rural Romania.

In her spare time, Tes enjoys climbing, boxing, reading and learning Arabic.
