Ahmad Islam Ishakat

Programmes Coordinator

 

Ahmad Islam joined Generations For Peace in October 2021 as an intern, and he currently serves as a Programme Coordinator. In his position, he is responsible for leading the Laureus Programme at GFP and he works closely with the Institutional Learning Departments and the Communications Department.

Originally from Jordan, Ahmad Islam holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Jordan and a postgraduate diploma from the University of Reading. His master’s research focused on security policy in the Middle East.

Throughout his career, Ahmad worked closely with UVU in conducting research about NGOs. This project focused on how NGOs attain funding to implement programmes.

Ahmad enjoys reading, travelling, cooking, and watching MotoGP.
