Ammar joined Generations For Peace in January 2017 as a Field Coordinator. In this role, he supports the implementation of various GFP programmes across Jordan. This includes providing logistical support, monitoring programme implementation to ensure highest quality, and coordinating various workshops and trainings as needed.
Originally from Jordan, Ammar earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Mutah University. He has also completed training to teach and train others on the topics of Life Skills and Media.
Passionate about helping others, Ammar has implemented several community-based initiatives to support people with disabilities. Before joining GFP, Ammar volunteered with many local organisations and radio stations, including Radio Voice of Karak, Farah Al Nas Radio, and the Princess Basma Centre for Human Development. He also has experience working in the fields of Marketing and Sales.
In his spare time, Ammar enjoys playing sports and reading.
