Andrew Rahme
Drew brings a rich background and academic career dedicated to fostering safer and more equitable futures in partnership with communities across the United States and Morocco. His recent experiences include developing culturally-competent workshops for students in violence-prone communities in Washington, DC through the Institute of World Affairs; crafting an action plan to gain Intangible Cultural Heritage Rights for Puerto Rico via UNESCO; and serving as a community liaison for high-risk HIV populations at the Red Door Clinic in Minneapolis, MN. In each of these roles Drew forged authentic connections with community members, contributing to program success, and acted as a liaison to uplift and empower communities. Notably, Drew also served as a Peace Corps Youth Development Specialist in Morocco. He holds a Master’s degree in Ethics, Peace, and Human Rights from American University in DC, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Reconciliation Studies and Sociocultural Studies from Bethel University.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Drew is an avid traveler, a passionate swimmer, and an enthusiast of discovering new recipes in his free time.
