Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Officer
Asender joined Generations for Peace (in December 2021 as a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Officer. In this role, he supports the creation and design of innovative quantitative and qualitative monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks and tools. He is also responsible for supporting the development and implementation of quality assurance, accountability, and learning frameworks within the Programmes Department. In addition, he supports in reviewing, analysing, and presenting M&E data to ensure the accessibility, reliability, and timeliness of data.
Originally Chechen, Asender worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer For ACTED, Action Against Hunger (ACF), and World Vision International (WVI) before joining Generations For Peace. And during his professional journey, he worked on several projects such as: Child Protection in Emergencies, Food Security, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), as well as on Early Childhood Development, Remedial Classes, and on Climate Change and many other projects.
In his spare time Asender enjoys playing electric guitar, reading about astrophysics and philosophy, philosophy of science and logic. He also likes to travel whenever possible and play Mixed Martial Arts.
