Programmes M&E Coordinator

Diya joined Generations For Peace in 2017 as Programme Coordinator for the Jordan After School Programme, before transitioning into the role of Programmes Monitoring and Evaluations Coordinator in August 2018. In his role, Diya works alongside with the Programmes Department, supporting the M&E team on designing and implementing M&E activities of all GFP Jordan Programmes. He also processes M&E data collection and analysis, preparing Programmes Evaluation reports for executive summaries and thought-pieces based on evaluation reports and supporting GFP’s donors evaluatory reports.

Previously, Diya worked at Interaction, a private establishment for development services that specialises in project planning, monitoring and evaluation and capacity building. During this time, Diya took part in many Training of Trainers courses, through which he developed his knowledge and skills in facilitating effective learning sessions. Diya has implemented training programmes for several NGOs including World Bank, Die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

Diya is from Jordan. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and a Master of Arts in Sustainable Development. Diya joined Generations For Peace because he wanted to pursue his passion for helping his community, and to be a part of the change created in local communities.

In his free time, Diya enjoys swimming, high diving, and martial arts. He is a member of Prince Rashid Union for Self-Defence, plays the guitar and recently has begun taking piano lessons.
