Fayrouz joined Generations For Peace (GFP) in July 2023 as a trainer in the Programmes Department and currently serves as Programmes Assistant.
In her role, Fayrouz is dedicated to implementing the programmes and schedules as outlined in the annual plan through conducting regular field visits. She communicates with volunteers to support them in implementing and designing programme activities in the field, providing the required logistical support. Additionally, Fairouz contributes to improving training curricula with the capacity-building team by offering advice on the latest training techniques and designing interactive workshops and camps. She also supports monitoring and evaluation processes through continuous documentation, providing regular reports on the latest developments, challenges, and lessons learned to enhance the levels of implementation operations.
Fayrouz holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Al-Balqa Applied University and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree at the Arab Open University. She also studied Mental Health First Aid at the University of Oregon. Fayrouz has been a volunteer at the Ministry of Youth (MoY) since 2008, directly engaging with the youth. Drawing from experience in designing programmes centred on nonviolent communication, volunteering, and youth leadership, she has made significant contributions in her roles at the Crown Prince Foundation and MoY.
Fayrouz has a wide interest in both creative writing and photography. During her diploma years, she earned first place in the photography competition at the Royal Automobile Museum. She also represented Jordan at the Gulf Creative Festival, showcasing her talents in both writing and photography. Additionally, Fayrouz also took the stage as a speaker at the New Thought Theatre.
Fayrouz spends her free time camping, traveling, reading, writing, or simple enjoying Piano music. She loves chocolate and is also a certified archery coach.
