Ghazal joined Generations For Peace in March 2019 as an Intern with the Institutional Learning Team (ILT). In this role, she supports drafting and reviewing the Participatory Evaluation reports for executive summaries and thought-pieces based on evaluation reports, processessing M&E data collection and analysis, and data entry.
Originally from Jordan, Ghazal was born in Scotland but has lived her whole life in Bahrain. She returned to Jordan to study Spanish and English Language and Literature at the University of Jordan. During this time, she was selected to be an Erasmus Student and was therefore given the opportunity to live in Barcelona, Spain for six months.
Ghazal’s time in Barcelona opened her eyes to her love of trying new things. It was this experience that encouraged Ghazal to enrol in the Cervantes Spanish Institute, where she earned a C1 certificate in Spanish Language Proficiency.
In her free time, Ghazal enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and trying new things.
