Hassan joined Generations For Peace in August 2017 as a Field Coordinator after months of volunteering with the organisation. In this role, he supports the implementation of various GFP programmes across Jordan. This includes providing logistical support, monitoring programme implementation to ensure highest quality, and coordinating various workshops and trainings as needed.
Originally from Jordan, Hassan graduated with honours from the Luminus Technical University College with a degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. His graduation project, titled “Arts, Creativity, and Technology to Service Human Rights,” was ranked number 1 in the Sixth Youth and Technology Conference.
Before joining GFP, Hassan spent two years participating in a training that aimed to provide professional photography skills to youth as part of an initiative by Afaq Jordan for Development and Training and Mercy Corps. He also served as the Chariman of the Administrative Board of Al-Mafraq Youth Centre for two years.
In his spare time, Hassan enjoys drawing caricatures and graffiti.
