Support Services Assistant

Hussein joined Generations For Peace in February 2021 as a Support Services Assistant. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring municipal services are provided in an effective and efficient manner; performing a variety of administrative tasks, inncluding staff support, tracking equipment, and supplies needs; and coordinating and facilitating meetings. He also provides assistance in translation of documents from English to Arabic and Arabic to English, procurement, logistics, human resources, and events support.

Hussein is Jordanian and of Palestanian descent. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Al al-Bayt University, where he is proud to have been a student of Dr. Nasser Albzour.

Before joining GFP, Hussein worked as a CS Associate with Amazon in Jordan. He also has experience working as an Interpreter with OneSight and as a Business Development Researcher with Bayt.com.

Hussein is a huge fan of rap music and even dreamed about becoming a rapper and actor when he was young. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and developing his skills to improve himself.
