Malek Alraddad

International Programmes Manager

Malek joined Generations For Peace in February 2020 as the International Programmes Manager. In his role, he supervises the implementation of GFP programmes in 23 countries across Asia, Europe, North America, and the MENA Region, ensuring that programmes meet GFP standards and donor requirements. He takes pride in working with his team to ensure that GFP values such as respect, tolerance, empowerment, and teamwork are reflected in the programmes.

Originally from Jordan, Malek obtained a Master of Science in Information and Telecommunication Technologies from Athens Information Technology Centre of Excellence for Research and Education. As part of his Master thesis, Malek is proud to have worked on developing video games to help students with autism in their basic daily lif needs.

Before joining GFP, Malek worked as the Chief of Party at Save the Children onTransforming Refugees Education towards Excellence (TREE) program that aims to improve  the teachers’ well-being and enhancing the teaching quality in the public schools of Jordan. In addition, he has worked as a Senior Programmes Manager for Blumont and supervised multi-sectoral programs including food security,  ,livelihoods, health, WASH, protection, and women empowerment programmes. As part of his responsibilities within both NGOs, Malek worked closely with multiple donors, ministries of governments, local and international partners to achieve the objectives of the organizations strategies.

In his free time, Malek enjoys hiking, swimming, and learning French.
