Ola Homsi

Communications Officer

Ola joined Generations For Peace in September 2021 as a Communications Officer. Her role is to craft proactive, innovative and compelling communication, marketing content and to engage in various channels with GFP’s stakeholders to share compelling stories to support positive behaviour change.    

Originally from Jordan, Ola’s work experience prior to joining GFP included working with local and international non-profit organization. Ola worked as a Program Coordinator at the International Youth Foundation and later as Business Development Executive at Naua, an initiative of the Crown Prince Foundation. Her work experience led her to her passion in social issues and believing in the power of postivie and impactful communication in driving societal change.

Ola pursued her master’s degree in Media in Development at SOAS University of London. Through her masters she gained valuable insights in development communication, and issues and debates surrounding development and the role of global media in development. Ola holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Sciences at the German Jordanian University where she spent a year in Gerrmany as part of her studies.

In her spare time Ola enjoyes reading and hanging upside down in her arial yoga practice.
