Oruba joined Generations For Peace in April 2018 as a Field Coordinator. In this role, she supports the implementation of various GFP programmes across Jordan. This includes providing logistical support, monitoring programme implementation to ensure highest quality, and coordinating various workshops and trainings as needed.
Originally from Jordan, Oruba earned her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Mutah University. She recently also became certified as Trainer on the topic of Entrepreneurial Behaviours from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the Jordan Business Development Centre.
Before joining GFP, Oruba volunteered with the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation as part of the Young Innovators Progamme. She also has experience as a Life Skills Trainer at the Creativity Club in Karak.
In her spare time, Oruba enjoys baking desserts, playing sports, and making origami and other handicrafts.
