Rosie joined Generations For Peace in August 2017. In her role as Communications Specialist, Rosie leads on implementing GFP’s communications strategy and develops content and material to support various needs. In addition, she manages digital media development for Generations For Peace in order to achieve stronger and more consistent engagement with an array of key stakeholders.
Rosie’s desire to work in maintaining peace and security in the Middle East led her to seek an internship with the organisation in 2016. This experience further grew her interest in working in the field of peacebuilding. After visiting the Social Cohesion Programme in Mafraq, Jordan and meeting the youth who participate in the activities, Rosie knew she wanted to return to Generations For Peace in the future.
Of Palestinian decent, Rosie was born in raised in the state of Minnesota, USA but grew up spending her summers in Jordan. Before joining the organisation, Rosie worked in consulting with Jordan Visions Center and has previous experience with the Federal Executive Board of Minnesota.
Rosie earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Bedfordshire. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management in International Business and Public/Non-profit Management. During her undergraduate career, she spent a semester abroad in Jordan studying at the Jordanian Institute of Diplomacy.
In her free time, Rosie enjoys traveling, running, and catching up with her friends back home.
