Saja Albishtawi
Field Coordinator
Saja joined Generations for Peace in October 2021 as a Programmatic Activities Intern. Saja is responsible for the implementation of the Sports for Protection programme. Her duties include data collection and monitoring and evaluating the sessions that are conducted across the governorates of the kingdom.
Saja holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences from the University of Jordan and worked on large projects in the field of humanitarian response with UNICEF and the US Embassy, such as the NCCA project. The NCCA aimed at encouraging youth to actively participate in the labour market. As a trainer with IREX (Youmakken), Saja assisted in the implementation of youth media action knowledge and engagement program to enhance youth competencies about active citizenship and critical thinking. She also assisted in various projects in Jordanian schools that aimed to raise awareness about bullying among primary school students. Saja worked as an operation intern with INJAZ where she was responsible for increasing the volunteer base and matching volunteers with opportunities.
In her spare time, she enjoys singing with Amaan choir, cycling, and traveling the world.
