Grant Proposal Coordinator

Vicky joined Generations For Peace in August 2020 as the Grant Proposal Coordinator. In this role, she supports the design and implementation of GFP’s fundraising strategy. She also contributes to the preparation of high-quality and effective fundraising materials, such as grant and partner proposals, fundraising-specific documents, and donor and partner reports.

Vicky was born in Hong Kong but moved to Boston, Massachusetts in the United States when she was young. She graduated from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, specialising in International Security and Diplomacy. She also studied Arabic in Jordan for two semesters.

Before joining GFP, Vicky worked as a Proposal Officer at Forcier Consulting, developing proposals for humanitarian programme research and monitoring and evaluation. She also has experience as a Research Analyst Intern at the Embassy of Jordan in Washington, D.C. and as a Grants Intern at the Amman Centre for Human Rights Studies, as well as an Organising Fellow at the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition.

In her free time, Vicky enjoys trying new cuisines, playing the guitar, hanging out with her friends, and continuing to study Arabic.
