Technical Master Facilitator

 

Wafaa joined Generations For Peace in February 2022 as a Technical Master Facilitator. In her position, she is responsible for supporting in developing and managing training work plans in collaboration with the skills Building Specialist and Programmes Department. She also supports in mentoring and guiding all assigned programmer’s implementation trainers and volunteers in their capacity building and development. Her responsibilities also include supporting the implementation of the assigned programmes through building the capacity of the implementation team within the different thematic clusters, monitoring and evaluating the conducted trainings, and conducting regular quality assurance field visits in coordination with the Skills Building Specialist.

Originally from Jordan, Wafaa holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Al-Balqa’a Applied University. Prior to joining GFP as a full-time employee, she worked as a Co-Facilitator and Curriculum Developer Service Provider. In her role, she supported in conducting trainings to build various capacities and supported the implementation of Makani Programme across Jordan. She also supported curriculum development related to the development of children and youth.

Her career path includes working for the Jordanian Ministry of Social Development as a Senior Project Coordinator and Life Skills Specialist, and as Life Skills Facilitator at the Jordan River Foundation.

Wafaa enjoys travelling, drawing, and playing with kids.
