Three Stories from Zimbabwe

“When the whole world is silent, even one voice becomes powerful.” Malala Yousafzai

As Communications Content Developer, I recently embarked on a Filming Field Visit to Zimbabwe alongside our talented film crew (Elia Saikaly, Karim Ayari and Matt Delaney – FindingLife Films). The purpose of our short stay was to create an impact video, which would focus on a few of the participants who have experienced considerable change in their lives. We also endeavoured to highlight those who have offered invaluable support to the participants throughout the ongoing programmes.

During the course of our visit, and with the help of Programmes and Institute staff, we had the privilege of spending time with many Pioneers, Delegates, students, parents and friends, affording us greater insight into the successes and obstacles faced by all within the programmes. But most importantly, we were able to learn more about their personal stories, allowing us to fully appreciate the challenging and commendable journey they have all undertaken.

The three individuals featured in the video you are about to view are: Audrey, Tatiana and Tatinde.

They truly are an inspiration to all.

On behalf of the team, I would like to express my immense gratitude to everyone who offered his or her support and time throughout the process.
