June 2023 – Amman, Jordan: Generations For Peace (GFP) has maintained its global ranking for the second consecutive year as the 25th Social Good Organisation (SGO) on Geneva-based thedotgood’s list of the ‘Top 200 SGOs in the World’.
Founded and chaired by HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, the Jordan-based organisation remains the number one SGO in Arab countries, and the number three peacebuilding organisation in the world.
On this occasion, HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein said: “Maintaining this ranking for two consecutive years is a yet another testament to the the value of the founding vision and the role that GFP plays in creating sustainable and positive change in communities, led by its dedicated team and volunteers, and supported by its partners. It is an international recognition for the exceptional efforts made by GFP family to provide spaces for young men and women to bring about change in Jordan and around the world, working alongside them, empowering them and promoting values of responsible citizenship, to build a present and a contribute to a future that upholds the values of peace, which we are in dire need of.”
His Royal Highness emphasised that GFP continues its mission of peacebuilding and is committed to expanding the scope of its programmes to align with the needs and contexts of the communities it engages with, ensuring the sustainable impact of its programmes.
Jean-Christophe Nothias, Editor of thedotgood, highlighted GFP’s achievements and leading global position, commending the organisation on its limitless ambition and discipline in mentoring young people to bring about social change by building mutual respect, tolerance, and trust. He noted that GFP constantly innovates, experiments, evaluates, and scales up the programmes that work, recognising the importance of reflecting on its work and the programmes it implements.
